A Trusted Thinking Partner for Nonprofit Organizations

For more than four decades, I have helped nonprofit organizations strengthen leadership, navigate change, and create strategies that advance their mission and impact. Drawing on experience as a nonprofit executive, board volunteer, board chair, facilitator, trainer, and consultant, I help organizations gain clarity, align stakeholders, and move forward with confidence.

My role is not to tell organizations what to do. It is to help leaders ask better questions, engage the right people, and make thoughtful decisions that position their organizations for long-term success.

Over the past two decades, I have consulted with hundreds of nonprofit organizations ranging in size from $1 million to more than $300 million in annual revenue. My work focuses on strategic planning, board development and governance, CEO search, organizational capacity building, and facilitation. Whether helping an organization chart its future, strengthen leadership, or navigate change, my goal is to create practical solutions that lead to meaningful results.

Before joining DBD Group as a Senior Consultant, I spent 43 years in nonprofit leadership roles in YMCA associations and community-based organizations across the United States. While working with the YMCA's national resource office, I co-developed and implemented a national strategy adopted by more than 850 YMCA associations to strengthen membership acquisition and retention. I also developed resources and tools supporting strategic planning, governance, leadership development, and executive transitions throughout the YMCA movement.

I have facilitated strategic planning initiatives, governance retreats, leadership development programs, conferences, and workshops for organizations of all sizes across the United States and internationally. As a national trainer for more than 20 years, I have equipped thousands of nonprofit leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen their organizations and communities.

My approach is grounded in partnership. I bring expertise in strategy development, facilitation, governance, and organizational effectiveness. Your board, staff, and stakeholders bring deep knowledge of your mission, community, and aspirations. Together, we combine those perspectives to create solutions that are practical, sustainable, and uniquely suited to your organization.
